Cecil Howard Race 12 September 2004
Quite a race even though numbers were much lower than in recent years. By 0930 it looked like it was going to be a 2 yacht race with only Henrietta and Modwena being at the start so it was not going to be too trying for the OOD. However, another 3 yachts appeared and a race was on. Conditions were trying - a force 6 wind from the west - and a few got wet feet (me!). The result was very close with Nutcracker taking the honours and what is probably the largest trophy for any Broads race.
